Genesis 28:12 (KJV): "And he dreamed, and behold a ladder set up on the earth, and the top of it reached to heaven: and behold the angels of God ascending and descending on it."

Why this verse
Jesus quoted this verse to Nathanael at the very start of His ministry (John 1:51): "Verily, verily, I say unto you, Hereafter ye shall see heaven open, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man." He identified Himself as the ladder. The Hebrew letters had agreed seventeen centuries earlier: "son" INSIDE the verse at baseline zero, Yeshua, Mashiach, opening, ascend, descend, angel, heaven, earth, dream, stone all clustered. Jesus's claim was not a metaphor invented at Cana — it was the reading of letters that had been waiting for Him to make it.
