Open full size ↑

The only verse in the Torah where the phrase מַיִם חַיִּים — "living water" — first appears. Inside its 36 letters: chai + mayim (life + water) BOTH baseline 0 INSIDE at the same skip +2 — the surface phrase encoded inside its own letters, Torah-unique. Plus ma'yan (spring) baseline 0; the well-cluster (well, spring, fountain, drink, heal); Yeshua at +416, Mashiach at −89, salvation rare baseline 98, Isaac extremely rare baseline 29. Eighteen theological words encoded in 36 Hebrew letters. The verse Jesus was quoting at Jacob's well: 'as the scripture hath said.'

Verse — surface text

Genesis 26:19 (KJV): "And Isaac's servants digged in the valley, and found there a well of springing water."

Hebrew anchor: וַיַּחְפְּרוּ עַבְדֵי־יִצְחָק בַּנָּחַל וַיִּמְצְאוּ־שָׁם בְּאֵר מַיִם חַיִּיםbe'er mayim chayyim"a well of LIVING WATER".

This is the only verse in the Torah that contains the exact phrase מַיִם חַיִּים. Every later use in Scripture points back to this well — and Jesus is echoing this verse when he says "living water" at Jacob's well (John 4:10) and "rivers of living water — as the scripture hath said" (John 7:38).
